Craftsmanship, Ingenuity and Innovation

Founded in 1959, Suolificio Magonio has grown over the years by combining craftsmanship, ingenuity and innovation.

Thanks to the wide range of leather sole manufacturing processes for women’s formal footwear that it can offer, the company is now a benchmark for the market.

For this reason, and thanks to its extensive heritage in terms of know-how and specialization, as well as a shared vision of product and service quality, at the beginning of 2023 the acquisition was finalized that led Magonio to become part of Tre Zeta Group, contributing to the realization of its ambitious project: to create the leading reference operator in the production of soles for the world’s most prestigious luxury brands.

Our History

1959

In 1959, Alessandro Piccini opened his first workshop in Malmantile (FI), where he began producing leather soles.

He firmly believed in the project and invested in it continuously, growing the company over the years by innovating production, expanding the range of manufacturing processes, and serving an ever-increasing number of the world’s leading luxury brands.

1983

The manufacturing plant is relocated to Signa (FI).

2000
Relocation to the current headquarters in Camaioni, Montelupo Fiorentino: 2,700 sqm equipped with the most technologically advanced machinery, from modern cutting tables and CAD-CAM milling machines to state-of-the-art lasers and pantographs which, combined with the craftsmanship of the workforce, enable a production capacity of approximately 6,000 pairs per day.
2023

Suolificio Magonio becomes part of the Tre Zeta Group.

Our Processes

Suolificio Magonio, thanks to a highly specialized workforce, handles all phases involved in the creation of leather soles: cutting, leveling, marking, milling, painting, stamping, cupping, hollowing, skiving, folding, shanking, brushing, and packaging. For single-block or injection-molded soles, the process also includes pantograph engraving, manual application, and finishing. Each piece is entirely handcrafted, inspected, and guaranteed. Machinery serves as a support tool for the skilled hands of Magonio’s artisans.
