Founded in 1990 in Porto Recanati, in the Marche region, by Antonio Giampaoli and Sonia Mangialardo, Walking World is today one of the leading companies specializing in the production of components for sneakers, and in particular footbeds and fillers for expanded polyurethane soles, with and without film.
The company has always been strongly focused on innovation and sustainability and, through a strategic partnership, has recently developed an innovative plant for the production of polyurethane soles with film. This patented, one-of-a-kind solution on the market is characterized by high production efficiency and enables a significant reduction in waste.
In 2024, the company became part of Tre Zeta Group, bringing into the Group a new technology and a production approach fully aligned with its commitment to defining the highest — and new — standards of customer service.
With Walking World, the Group expands its territorial presence with entry into the Marche region, home to a historic footwear district that hosts major Made in Italy luxury brands and a highly valuable ecosystem of manufacturers. This area joins Tuscany, where Tre Zeta Group is headquartered, and Veneto, where the development of a second major industrial facility is underway.
